FlowRender is built to run mostly in your browser. Uploaded skins, custom items, custom armor and background images are processed locally in your browser for rendering. We do not currently run accounts, cloud saves, or AI processing for user uploads.
When you upload a skin, image, custom armor or custom item, the file is used by the web app in your browser so you can preview and export a render. Unless a future feature clearly says otherwise, those files are not intentionally uploaded to a FlowRender server.
FlowRender may use your browser's localStorage to remember small preferences, such as tutorial status, the last skin you loaded, custom assets saved locally, and warning preferences. You can clear this data from your browser settings.
FlowRender does not currently use AI models to process user uploads. If AI features are added later, this page will explain what data is processed, which providers are used, and what choices users have.
FlowRender uses browser resources and external links, including Three.js resources, Discord, and Ko-fi links. If analytics, ads, payments, or AI providers are added in the future, this page will be updated before those features are used in production.
